Using NLP and Time Line Therapy®
Bad Luck!
We don’t like it when it happens. We blame our faith, the people around us, and life in general for not being kind. We would do anything to avoid it. But it happens. And it happens usually when we least expect it. The thought of having to learn something new to get ourselves o0ut of crisis is not new. We buy books, research the web, and take workshops.
A good workshop must have one big purpose in mind. Actionable intelligence.
I learned this recently from a very wise woman, a brilliant mind, and a great personality – Catherine Austin Fitts. In the face of “bad luck” she has maintained throughout many years an unbelievably positive mind which has helped her and many others interacting with her out of the bad times transforming each and every one into fantastic breakthroughs.
There are three things we can use for our minds.
Entertainment, news, and actionable intelligence.
Sometimes we want to be entertained and take a break. We don’t want to think. We just want to relax. And that’s fine.
News is not entertainment. News is actually quite serious.
But what is the most important part of these three? Something we can use immediately. And that’s actionable intelligence. Because that’s something which, if used properly, takes us out of bad luck turning it into an opportunity to further grow.
It can happen with money, in career, in business, in relationships, in health, in our hop3es and wishes. In fact it can happen anywhere.
The NLP trainings gave me skills that I could immediately put into the category of actionable intelligence. Just as an aside we have a lot of information which can be put to immediate use and actionable intelligence on our website NLPCoaching.com as well as in our online NLP Store.
The problem with periods of bad luck is that you have no idea when one is about to happen – so thinking that you have nothing to worry about because it has not happen to you is not a clever decision.
If it has already happened, my heart goes out to you. Having gone through several periods of “bad luck” in my life I can surely empathize. But now, looking back, I can honestly say that it was through those times I have grown the most.
Through NLP and Time Line Therapy® I got real tools I put to use immediately to reduce the stress I had dealt with. It has shown me, as it will show you, ways of reducing the stress. Beside that (and it’s no small thing) it will allow you more clarity of mind. Possibly, and most likely probably, it will give birth to a better solution.
How it happens?
It’s actually not hard. 7 days of practical exercises which combine fun with learning. Most people attending use this time as a personal coaching time. They let go of what blocks them during the exercises, they let go of the barriers that make life hard, let go of the negative emotions they feel and carry in their memories from the past and find new resources and strategies they never knew they had available. Solutions appear “out of nowhere” as one of our training participants told us today.
“I used to try and please everybody to the point of where there was no more time for myself or anything I wanted to do for me”.
“I used to believe that I am just not good enough for anything – I was just a bartender” said another, who is now a certified trainer and a magnificent presenter in front of large groups of people artfully inspiring people in a positive way.
“I almost got divorced, and after day 5, when I did let go of my anger with Time Line Therapy® I realized that we can actually communicate and solve our conflicts without arguing. I had a long talk with my partner that evening, and we realized how much we love each other. It seems so stupid what we were just about to do”.
